We decided that this christmas we would do something more than just buying stuff for everyone run around at the malls etc. So along with the Patriot Guard Riders and others ,we are going to Arlington to place wreaths. We are taking the TC with the big cofee pots, hot chocolate and our spirit and thankfulness. Need someone in the area who knows of a campground any kind close by. any info would be great come along if you like.Nothing more humbling and yet uplifting than this.

No campground info, but just wanted to say what a great way to celebrate the season by honoring those who fought for all we hold dear.

Bull Run Regional Park

I work from home for a company based in Northern VA in Tysons Corner.

On the occasional face time visits, I use Bull Run as my home base. It is 14 miles West of the Capital Beltway, and located close to many historic civil war sites.

If you enjoy shot-gunning they have an outstanding skeet/trap/sporting clays facility in the park.

Good luck and enjoy the trip.

Military Campground Website - Maryland

You might be able to get a sponsor to stay on Andrews AFB in Maryland or at Quantico. I'm guessing that they would have space that time of year. Try getting with the organizer for the project, maybe they can get you a sponsor.

Good luck and God Bless.

Before you give someone a piece of your mind, make sure you can get by with what's left.
