Maybe you should call Ghost Hunters. It could be paranormal activity.

It most likely is a horn.... and maybe your wife is messing with your head. Maybe she is secretly an A&M fan....

My bet is that the previous owner had a horn installed and SOMETHING you (or your RV) are doing is turning it on... Keep in mind that the horn could be somewhere other than the engine compartment.

Good luck and keep us posted...

You are all the greatest! Thanks for the replies.

The music seems to be coming out of the corner of the roof above the driver.

We have no phone hooked up to the wall connections.

It has been playing for 3 years.

It plays when we are at/near intersections with lots of traffic lights, but does not always play. In small towns it will play in the city center sometimes.

We have a steering wheel horn and an air horn. Even when the air horn was broken, it would play. We don't need to push any buttons - it has a mind of it's own.

It is much louder outside than inside, so the music is directed to be heard from a distance.

It is music only. No singing.

I will look for a megaphone.

DH wants to take a shotgun to the corner but I would prefer a less drastic approach. LOL

Go Aggies!!

LittleBill - when in TX, everyone loves it and gives us an Aggie cheer. Outside of Texas we get a Bronx cheer and some sign laguage.

It is funny, but not so much late at night in a campground when everyone is asleep - gawd, I feel so awful knowing it is distrubing others and I can't stop it or anticipate when it will start playing to beat the band. I am really surprised no one has come on here to complain about "those rude people with the musical MH" or egged our MH while we slept.

Yep 3 years. Sometimes I just wave, so everyone will think we are saying 'hi!' to someone we know. LOL

I hope the previous owner isn't reading this thread, if so, he's probably on the floor laughing. He got you good!!!!
I hope you find it soon, we are pulling for you! Besides, it's driving us crazy as to what's going on.

Are your air horns on the roof at that same corner? Are they TRUE air horns, meaning you have an air compressor, or electronic air horns? Maybe 1 horn is real, and 1 horn that electronic music-maker! Keep us informed!!! ST

If it is the same music, over and over, and never anything else, it can not be a outside source like a cell phone, radio or tv station, power lines, or other electrical interference. It has to be from a inside source such as a hidden musical horn system or something paranormal. I vote for either. If it ends up being paranormal, I suggest a visit to either Lidy Dale in NYS or Cassadaga in Florida. Someone must be trying to tell you something. Do you know of anything unusual happening in your mh during the 7 years before it became you it became yours? Oh, do not do NYS til next spring as we are hitting the low 30s at night already. Lily Dale does have camping with hook ups, but nothing fancy.

You could take it down to College Station. You'll be a big hit.
