Watch the attached videos from Navistar, their take on 2010 diesel emission compliance. I am no fan of increased EGR but.. SCR sure brings a lot of issues for the recreational diesel engine owner.

They are leaning toward EGR with only the briefest mention of increased fuel economy ,with a sideways slap at that, mostly addressing over the road trukers
Good to have choices.

I've heard, from very good sources, that Intl. is having trouble getting their engines to meet emissions, even with credits. My DEF supplier has been supplying the Intl. Tech Ctr with DEF for nearly 4 months now. He's 99% sure they are working on Plan B.

The underhood rat's nest of their trucks will surely keep many fleets from buying.
