OK, let's have alittle fun. Start your reply/post off with the words "I believe" and go from there. Keep it related to Fifth Wheel comments. For the reason of keeping it 5th Wheel related see my first post.
"I believe" that if we don't keep this 5th wheel related, this post will be moved to another forum catagory.
On a more serious side.
"I Believe" That a number of tire blow outs are not from strictly from tire manufactures quailty, but from frames not being built with attention to detail, precision and alignment of axles.
I believe that it is getting too cold here in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Some nights have had freezing temps. So it is time to head to Florida.
I believe that because you didn't quantify your statement, "a number of tire blow outs" could mean as little as 1 tire blow out, so there is a good possibility that somewhere out there, 1 tire blew out because of frames not being built with attention to detail, precision and alignment of axles which would support your claim. However there could be 0 blowouts, making your statement false.
I think Firestone tried to blame Ford for a similar issue. I think Ford won and Firestone lost a huge client for a while.
I believe that no mater what fifth wheel brand you have every 1000 miles or so you will shake something alose. The moral of the story is to always do your maintaince inspections after a long trip.

You sure on that, Ford is the one that set inflation at 26 lbs, which was way to low. Time

I believe that there could be some truth that fifth wheel frames are not aligned properly. On my previous 5th wheel the tires did not wear evenly. On my new 5th wheel with 10,000 miles the tires are wearing evenly.
I believe that it's only a matter of time until someone posts something inappropriate and this thread gets closed. (Hope not though ) But I really believe (and hope) that someone would call me up and offer to trade me a nice, big, new fifth wheel for my truck camper Gary
I believe that no matter how much I like the nicer/newer motorhomes, I will always come back to a 5th wheel, because it makes more sense for our lifestyle, whether we are sitting in our snowbird park, or whether we are traveling the rest of the year.
I believe that all 5th wheels have issues, and its how the dealer/factory handles the problem that separates the best from the worst.
I believe that there are a lot MORE blowouts on the curb side wheel than the highway side and that SOME of the reasons (besides poor tire quality) is because people tend to jump curbs much more often on the curb side.
