We are thinking of Williamsburg just before Christmas.
Any suggestions on which cg in the area is best when the weather is cold? We have a TT with slide out and have done cold weather camping before. Thanks in advance for the suggestions.

Life is too short to wait too long to do all we want to do!!
Go and enjoy!!
American Heritage. Best of the Williamsburg area campgrounds in my opinion. If you don't want or need sewer, Newport News City Park is another alternative. American Heritage is just west of Williamsburg on I-64, and Newport News is east on I-64.
Agree with American Heritage. Small and quiet campground. Sites are concrete but I'd ask for a pull thru. Short distance to Williamsburg. remember to take a broom to brush off leaves of the pad......
I think the road you are on is Croaker Drive. Leave the campground and take a left. Go to the stopsign / light and take a left onto Richmond Road. take an immediate left and there is a nice grocery store there. Richmond road also takes you into Williamsburg.
Good idea to make dinner/play reservations ahead. Many folks make the Christmas time trip an annual event. Great time and decorations, but meal times can get quite Disney like. Have fun.
