Every year I fill-in any small holes in the seals on my rubber roof with lap sealant. The lap sealant comes in this giant tube and I use less than 10% of it. This season when I washed and inspected my roof, I found only one tiny pin-sized hole in the seal for the fan. Just one. I don't want to buy a giant tube of this sealant for this tiny little hole. Is there a small little patch I can buy or something cheap I can do to keep this hole sealed over the winter?
Thanks!

If you have any Eternabond tape you could just cut a small peace of it and use that. Eddy

when you cut the tip of the tube, and are done with it, put a large nail or large long screw or nail in the tube spout and that will keep it until you use it next time. so long as you keep the nail in the spout the nail or what ever leaves a passage for the next time you need it.

Eterna bond tape is serious stuff for a quick and good fix! If you use a tube, try using a wire nut to seal the opening, werked for years on my minimal loss prevention.

I use white silicon that I bought at Wal-Mart for under $3:00. Not sure how long it will work but for a temporary fix it should be OK
