Here is a link to our pictures from our search for covered bridges in Vermont. It's an engineer thing!

Fred and Jo.. It's not just an engineer thing. Most anyone can appreciate good craftmanship. When things last a hundred years, they deserve to be admired.

I emailed rv.net member CueSee because I knew he had some pics. He said you post them.

Routhierville Bridge, Matapedia Valley, Québec. Neat little camping area, no services, right above a salmon pool in Causapscal.

St-André Bridge, St-Sylvestre, Québec. Boondocking allowed just in back of that sled, room for about two-three rigs.

Ste-Agathe-de-Lotbinière on the FilkarsRiver. Campground about 500' in back of me when I took this pic.

Same bridge in the summer, great swimming here, jump off the bridge into 25' of water...

& I, I took the road less travelled by.

Great thread and super pictures. If only the more modern bridges that I designed for MoDOT would endure as long.

From the Oregon High Cascades Caravan...

How many truck campers will a wooden covered bridge hold?

Two! Note the photographer patiently waiting for the bridge to clear
