We just bought one(MH) in Michigan and we live in Arkansas, 941 miles as it ended up being..Wife and I packed a bag with our 'personals' and when we picked up the MH and closed the deal, we headed to the first Walmart we saw and bought what we needed for the three day trip home....we figured we might as well enjoy the trip home, so we didn't lay down mega miles per day. We needed most of the Wally stuff anyway, so buying it in Mich or Ark, no diff to us...good luck..

Congrats! Owning a motor home has been one of my biggest pleasures in life. Sure hope to have another one, soon!

Congrats. This seems pretty popular lately. We did the same thing a few weeks ago.
We had a blast and stopped at no less than 6 Walmarts on our trip home. Enjoy. We
ended up having to hurry a little toward the end and that kind of sucked...

Filling it up is an expense we will live with...if it gets too expensive, we have a very nice lake cabin on jacks.....

I would try to avoid picking up a motorhome. I think I'd hurt my back beyond repair if I tried.
Good luck.
