Just looking for some opinions on this unit. We are pretty sure that we are going to pull the trigger, but I always have to get a few final opinions before I make the deal. Our local dealer has offered this unit to us for $8500.00 and our 2007 Kodiak 195. We get to build it form the ground up (order the way we want it) and he is throwing in a Equal-I-Zer WDH with the deal. Here is they way we are going to order it:
Cherry wood
Cinnamon fabric
Raised panel fridge
Aluminum wheels
Power awning
Outdoor speakers
Outdoor grill
Heated mattresses
Create-A-Breeze Three Speed Fantastic Vent
Water-Pur Filtration
Conventional Oven
Microwave
Spare Tire, Carrier & Cover
Power Awning (N/A 17, 19, 21RS, 23RS)
13.5k BTU Ducted Air (Except 17, 183, 19)
Outside Gas Grill & Worktable
Aluminum Wheels
Double Door Refrigerator (17, 183, 19)
Outside Speaker
Power Front Jack
Raised Refrigerator Panel
DSI Gas/Electric Hot Water Heater
Carbon Monoxide Detector

I think that is about all. Thanks, Scooby

Ours didn't come with nor did I want an outside grill. I don't like the idea of all the smoke going up under the awning.
A power awning? It takes only a few minutes to set mine up and most of that is putting the deflappers on. I'd add an awning for the slide though.
Aluminum wheels do look nice but don't add any functionality.
Many people like the electric tongue jacks. If my hand cranker ever breaks I'll replace it with an electric one but until then I'll crank it.
Is there an option for a gas / electric WH? If you camp w/ full hookups then the only propane you'll use is for cooking.
Is a furnace included?
CO and propane detectors should be standard equipment.
And what's the TV?

Cherry wood
Cinnamon fabric
Aluminum wheels(not sure if they are worth the cost)
Power awning(don't think you have the option for manual)
Outdoor speakers(personally, i would never order such a thing
Outdoor grill(like our Sidekick but wouldn't have paid extra for it.)
Heated mattresses(LOVE THEM!)
Create-A-Breeze Three Speed Fantastic Vent(standard)
Water-Pur Filtration(standard)
Conventional Oven
Microwave
Spare Tire, Carrier & Cover
Power Awning (N/A 17, 19, 21RS, 23RS)
13.5k BTU Ducted Air (Except 17, 183, 19)
Outside Gas Grill & Worktable(same as outdoor grill mentioned above)
Double Door Refrigerator (17, 183, 19)
Power Front Jack(not worth paying extra for when you can get one on Ebay starting at $100. easy to install)
Raised Refrigerator Panel
DSI Gas/Electric Hot Water Heater
Carbon Monoxide Detector(standard by law)

I think that is about all. Thanks, Scooby

You'll love having the conventional oven - once you learn it's quirks. In the meantime, learn to "love" the taste of some things that are charcoal on the bottom. But you'll get the hang of it. IMHO the power awning is not a big deal, would prefer our manual. But if you love it, get it. DSI water heater - well worth the $$. We loved our outside grill, but when we changed to an acrylic awning we were concerned about grease/soot getting into the weave. With the vinyl awning, we used it every trip and it was wonderful. Maybe I'm missing it, but if you haven't included a slide awning, suggest you do so. Worth it's weight in gold. Heated mattresses - priceless! We've had our ROO 23SS since the end of July '06 and have not found one thing to complain about. It's a wonderful unit!

For some reason RVWholesalers has taken their prices off their website. Stupid idea unless they're now pricing them secretly and separately.

Anyway you can price this unit easily on their website and they'll send the data to you. They emailed me a price of $16966.99 for these "options" (some are standard).

Essentially you're getting $8500 for your old trailer. Maybe. Just wait for the "freight" and "document fees" they forgot to tell you about. Purely accidental, I'm sure.

Outdoor speakers are another leak point as well as annoying to your neighbors. Certainly to us if we're next door.

Alloy wheels are not that expensive if you order them with the trailer.

We use the outdoor grill every camping trip. Thought we'd never use it.

Raised wood on the refrigerator is just too much wood for us. We went with the stainless steel package.

I've not seen a power awning I'd want. Yep, more leak points and the mechanism has sharp points at head level on both ends.
