Well, like the post says cracked frame. The frame is cracked above the axles in multiple places. I bought this trailer over a year and half ago September of 2007. I started this adventure in july of this year. I first contacted Heartland then, the dealer. Dealer started dealing with Lippert, they said out of warranty (Trailer was manufactured in 06) They have a two year warranty. Heartland flat out said, not there frame and they were not fixing it. Called the insurance and after all their steps, looks like normal wear and tear and they were not going to fix it. Normal wear and tear, get real this is a manufacture's defect. The problem is the hangs are too long and the frame is to WEAK and the gussets are way too short. When you have the bolts in the last hole and every time you turn your trailer that causes the frame to flex and crack. Also, there is another trailer in town that has a cracked frame that lipperted came out and looked at. The tech said that was the worst he has seen, as if he seen a lot of cracked frames. So, everyone needs to check there frames above their axles for cracks, since it looks like there is a problem going on here before someone gets hurt or god for bid gets killed from this.

Try Trailer Life's ACTION LINE.They seem to be able to convince manufacturers and dealers to fix problems.

I had a 32'Tahoe TT and the frame cracked above the axels. I noticed the cracks when the TT was 3 years old. The dealer told me that it's my problem. I contacted Trailer Life's Action Line. They made some contacts and Tahoe called me and told me who made the frame and where they were located. I called the frame manufacturer and they set up a appointment for me to take the TT in and they would repair it while I waited. I left the TT there and went shopping with the DW for about 4 hours. They welded the cracks and fishplated the frame. It was a lot stronger when they finished. The owner of the frame company came out and talked to me. He said that the frame was not part of the TT warranty, it was separate and he expects the frame to outlive the TT. He also said if I had any other problems with the frame I should call him direct and they would fix the frame, no cost to me, for as long as I had the TT. Good Luck with the repairs.

Might want to read the Zieman Frame warranty really closely. Zieman is part of Lippert Components Inc. and had a standard 2 year LCI warranty when we were looking at 2007/2008/2009 Attitude/Stellar units.
