We are not happy with our current TT insurance after a bad hail storm did 11,000 in damage and we are only getting two sky lights replaced Anyway, long story short, we are wanting to get rid of the current insurance American Modern. Anyone have any suggestions? Also, if we get a new policy with another company and they find that our roof needed to be replaced, can we go back to American Modern and tell them? Our adjuster wrote in his report that he recommended it, but the insurance "RV specialist" said we didn't need it!

Help/Advice is totally appreciated!

Check out both GEICO and Progressive, they are not bad.

Get a third opinion on the roof. If they say it needs to be replaced, go to arbitration. The process should be outlined in your policy.

State Farm has agreed to replace roof and wall of our Jayco 30FBS after a roof leak and wall delamination. No hassles, no problems at all.

I used to have GMAC. Switched some time ago due to lower rates with Progressive. However, I don't know what GMAC is like now that the insurance division has been bought out by some other company.

I've found that Progressive is very responsive and understands full-timers.

a new carrier won't insure pre existing damage, start raising hell with your current carrier-they should have sent you a denial of coverage letter and explained why they don't think your roof needs to be replaced especially if the adjuster noted it on the inspection...

Don't give up without a fight and make them explain why they denied your claim.

I have had lots of good luck with Alstate and am very satisfied with them. You do need to raise hell with them other people and get it fixed before it leaks and they say.....sorry

Thank you so much for all of the advice! I am going to get down to business on that and see what it says in it. Thanks again!

I, too, can't say enough good things about Progressive. Use them on all my vehicles...cars, motorcycles, atvs and TT.
