hmmm, the exhaust manifold and turbo are in the vally between the heads. Reckon thats why the beast has two sperate cooling systems to maintain.
Its gonna' be interesting to see how this type of design works when pulling big loads especially in areas that can have 100-110 degree temps..

No, the second cooling system has nothing to do with the location of the turbo. It's there to provide air-to-liquid intercooling for the intake.

Was it stated on another thread that the upcoming new Ford Diesel was developed in 3 years?
If true, is that a normal time period for developing a brand new diesel?
Will the new diesel change major work on these Ford P.U.'s where the cab does not have to be pulled anymore for certain work?

One sad fact is that the engine will be manufactured in Mexico. I won't own one of them. My 6.4L was manufactured in Louisville, KY.

Well, the Manhattan Project took 3 years and it turned out to be successful (not for the Japanese).
