Here in Charlotte you go online to the Library system and borrow books/download them from your home. You can borrow them on your reader for 21 days. For current/popular books you have to add your name to a wait list. I knew the Sony readers could do this but was not sure about the Kindle. Now I need to see if the Nook can do this?

I just learned that my home country has a reciprocal agreement with a neighboring county and they have a pretty nice looking selection for their e-book program. Now all I need to do is go get a card and I'm all set.
