We are continuing our version of "full-timing" with no sticks/bricks home. We have been on the road over 5 years and traveled to Mexico, Belize, Canada and of course Rving all over the U.S. with 5 summers (one winter) in Alaska.
Now, we go the next step - beginning tomorrow with a one way plane ticket to the country of India. We're not sure when we will return but approximately 12-18 months with travel to other countries likely before returning to the U.S. We've met a few people doing similar travels but it is certainly not conventional full-timing and my doctor just calls us "homeless" - but we love it!
I've had fun here on rv.net and wish everyone well - I may make an occasional appearance while overseas but the moderators will have less work to do for sure.

Cool! Sounds like you're in for some real adventure, culture and some great foods. Enjoy your trip and please report often. Let us know if you see any rvs there and take lots of pics.

Sounds great! Are you leaving your RV in storage for a year or so? I heard of another person who did something similar; they left their RV in storage here in the U.S., flew to New Zealand and rented a RV there and toured New Zealand for a few months.
I run into a lot of Europeans at campgrounds who came here to America on vacation and they tour the U.S. in a rented RV instead of getting a hotel room. There is also a service, which I don’t have any info on, that pairs up people in different countries to swap RV’s, so you go to their country and use their RV while they are using your RV here in the U.S. Similar to international house swapping. Like I said I don’t have any info on it but other RV‘ers have told me about it.
Another version of full-timing are those full-timers who park their RV and go on and Ocean cruise for a week or two, and then come back to their RV. I think that there are a lot of variations to full-time RVing.
Wow! You have covered a lot of territory for only five years time. We have been at this for ten years now and we haven't even completely covered the US & Canada, but we are working at it.
