I'm betting that it is a cover used for adding attachments to one of those small up-right vacuum cleaners.

Ok, I know what it is. We have one that broke off. It is a soap holder that goes in the shower. It slides up and down a rod that is in the shower. We had one in our shower in our 2008 Challenger until my wife bumped into it and broke it off. The slits keep water draining away from the soap bar.

Its the lid for the giffle pin on the knuter valve which is attached to the gizmolic spondulus which pumps oil to the tail lights.

It's a Variable Scabber-Dabber. They are very valuable after aging for a few years, so hang on to it & don't let it out of your sight. I had a box full but my Ex got it in the settlement so again I was SOL.

To the OP!

I would think after 4 pages of responses, and it's quite obvious no one really knows, you can assume it was some item used for packing material for a part that was installed in your RV and they failed to discard. I would think you're probably safe to pack it away for another 3 years and then repost again on these forums and see if anyone in the future may have a clue!
