I wish our new small B sized, cut-away built rig was a true B, so I could go to the B rallies

We haven't encountered any negative feedback from campground owners or folks in big rigs. Quite the contrary. When we park our Sprinter based RV we invariably find a few campground neighbors walking around it to check it out. When we offer them a tour, they eagerly accept. Yes, a large A is very different, and most folks who own one say they like their rig better. But most of them are also quick to grasp the benefits of a smaller rig, and we usually have a pleasant discussion about places we've been and things we've seen. It's all good.

Quote: I worry since so many people including our neighbors have class A big fancy rigs will we get the stink eye at campgrounds because we arrive in a small unit??
Generally I give them the stinkeye because they drag this big ugly hotel around into the beautiful forests, spend the day in AC watching TV, then call themselves 'campers' cause they sit around the fire at night drinking beer, 3' from the neighboring ugly hotel *grin*.
1. Do what's enjoyable for you and don't worry about others.
2. Find the lovely spots where the A can't get to and there are fewer people: "primitive" spots are perfect.
And if someone makes a stink, ask them to compare fuel bills and see who has the least negative impact on the scenery we're all trying to enjoy *wink*.

I doubt they'll turn you away. Generally, they're a good group of people.

OMG, Seraphim, are you joking here? You cannot have been reading B-rally forum posts for the past several years and really mean this.

We haven't experienced any discrimination in our case. The exact opposite!
Often, other RV types owners have asked us for a tour of our RT. And in turn, I ask for a trade (that they show us theirs.) I am in awe of the big $$$ bus rigs to be honest but it is funny when "they" come over for a chat to check us out. Usually it's the DW that starts the conversation. All in all, we find that a vast majority of campers we meet are courteous and nice people.

In campgrounds with tight sites, I think some big A's have been relieved to see our little B come between them: more room, no slides, plus we're off sightseeing most of the day. I know there are a few fancy schmantzy RV resorts that only accept A's, and I actually wish we could go to one of them in Florida, but them's the breaks. As an aside, the comment earlier about the b-rally confused me. Aren'tthey us? I go to rallies and I'm a good people

Thanks all!
We are still looking around and definitely decided on a "B" even though the A and C models are just gorgeous they are just too big for our RV gate opening.

Exactly, I was making a point, that the B rally discriminates against other Rig classifications
