What people say does not bother me,......unless it were to come from one of my FEW friends.
Most people are nuts.

Good folks are what the RV thing is all about. It's not what your driving, but who you are that counts. My friend turned me on to RV'ing with his older coach. We in turn bought our first used rig and then bought our current one a year or so later. Now there is more then ten years between my friends unit and mine. Yet he has rebuilt his and tricked it all out so it really fits he and his wife. It's a great rv and I'm proud to travel and camp with him. If a park allowed me but turned him away, they just lost money from both of us.

I have talked to Signature Resorts and Pelican Bay Resorts (and other high end resorts in FL) regarding this 10 yr rule, and their management said, as long as your RV looks decent they don't enforce this strictly. They don't check your registration to determine if it is 10yr old. It is just a verbal/visual check.

We have been looking at Class A's for a couple of years and hope to purchase a used one soon. By the time we get done fixing it up and paying it off, it probably would be considered an antique. It would be nice for those snobs to get a taste of thier own medicine. Imagine them pulling into a Cg and being told." Sorry, you can't stay here as you present yourself as being better than anyone else" Take a hike snob!!!!!

Don't like the view?? Then change it and Go CampingOur pics

The snoody people in my development don't like my motorhome parked beside my home (it meets code inforcement requirements) Florida has passed a new ordinance on lawns; ( due to a water shortage you can pretty much ignore your lawn) they have tryed to get rid of my motorhome; they say it lowers their property values' So; I dug up my front yard and planted tomatoes, no law against that; these people are going nuts, and there is nothing they can do about it.
There is a way to get even with these snobs. just find a loop whole.

I saw the other side of that coin. I was checking into a park in Albuquerque when a big rig pulled through. After driving through the park the owner came in and told the campground owner he would not be staying. He stated his motorhome was too good for that park. Takes all kind!!

We have a 1982 holiday rambler we bought four years ago, we guted it redid the whole inside and I did all the chairs and couch we called upon the interior designers at a college here to help for a help in their field of interior designing classes and since I know alot of people at the college they loved the idea. I tlooks like a million dollar home inside and more. But the outside is great except if I could just get that dam orange decal off going down the side, it matches nothing. So we go camping first time in august since we didn,t go all of 08 because of the gas so we decided to redo the inside from ceiling to floor. We pull in a camp site won,t tell you where and as I was getting out to stretch while my husband was checking in a lady came by and said well are you sure you have the right camp site we have alot of newer rv here and so I froze and stood their and my mouth would not open and she says good day and bout ten mins later I came to and looked her up and youuuuuuuuu do not want to know what I told her. But you know mine is paid for its clean and screw whoever thinks or says mine is not up to par. Hope no one else has had this problem will send pictures of it soon and you all take a vot.

GET OVER IT! Most people dont like me because I have an eye in the middle of my forehead...so??...big deal is what I say. It only leaves me something like 971,284 campgrounds left in the USA.

You've only got one year left... then you gotta slum it down here with
the rest of us. :0)

10 years or newer! I see this a LOT when researching places to stay.
