You betcha!! My goal is to get behind the wheel of that motorhome asap! It's in the storage garage now and I need to start the generator and take her around the block for about 30 miles to heat everything up.
A real trip may not happen until January where we might meet a group in Quartzsite, AZ. I had so much fun on my first trip there this past January that I want to go again.

We're getting our H1N1 shots today and plan to head south in our MH December 1st. Even with our medical insurance, I don't want to take any chances and spend time in a hospital. I hope you have a complete and succesful recovery.

Out of curiosity, did the Dr's say is was the results of the flu shot and was it Julian Barré Syndrome?

Another vote for "not on this forum". All you have done is add to the media induced panic that has spread across this nation. Your situation is a fluke. Unfortunate but a fluke. Glad you are recovering.

Many years ago I had Guillain-Barré syndrome. Total loss of muscles in arms and legs that set in over a period of two days.
Every doctor I've talked to since then, when I told them I had Guillain-Barré syndrome, asked me if I had had the swine flu shot that was given out way back when.
I did not have the shot back then but the fact that more than five doctors have asked me the same question I decided that I'll take my chances with the flu.

Sorry to hear about your allergic reaction and hope you make a full recovery and get back to RVing asap. Never got the flu shot up until just a few years ago and have not experienced any side effects after receiving it. Glad you were able to get the proper care for your condition.

One form is called Guillain-Barre Syndrome (never heard of Julian but it does come up under a Google search). Guillain-Barre starts at your feet and moves up, Cervical Transverse Myelitis starts at your upper body and moves downward (like my symptoms).
Basically, it's the inflammation of the spinal cord.
My neurologist told me that I was very lucky in that 33% of patients have total paralysis, 33% make a partial recovery and 33% make a full recovery. Since I improved so quickly, they feel a 100% is likely.
My hands are still weak but at least I can type on the computer.
