There will be some changes coming soon in the form of some helpful RVing tips, links to RV related stuff, and some links to advertising in hopes of generating a little income to help support the forums. These will be showing up soon in the right margins of the forums.

Thanks Barney for the update. I know it's a business and have no problems with the changes you mentioned. I enjoy the forum immensely and hope it is able to sustain itself for years to come.
Times are tough, but we will still enjoy this forum. I just hope that at least most of the ads will be aimed at us RV'ers. Thanks for being the medium for all of us to get together on.

As far as I know, the ads will all be for Affinity owned companies and therefor will be directly involved with RVing. From what I have seen so far, they will not be very intrusive, will not interfere with the forum pages, and there will be some good tips for us also. We will find out for sure pretty soon! I'm just glad that the forums are important to the company and that they are dedicated to keep them going.

I realize there are a lot of members who rarely take a look at the stickies area since they have been there a long time. That is why I started this thread in the regular part of the forum. Looks like my strategy worked! The views of the sticky thread have increased considerably.
