Hey how come we never see any of you folks from Oregon at our rallies. We usually have Rvlady and her husband from Salem and Tom and his DW from Mcminnville. This next one is gonna be in Kelso in May,but we've had two or three right in Oregon.

I'm originally from the northeast, so I know something about nor'easters and winter blizzards. Living now in Florida I'm aware of hurricanes and tornados. Last year in Oregon I was amazed to see signs approaching low areas of the coast about tsunami warnings. We didn't encounter a tsunami, but enjoyed a very beautiful coast.

We most certainly have the potential. What's amazing is the story about how they know exactly when one happened on January 27th, 1700. The Native Americans told the legends of a giant tsunami and there is physical up and down the coast of a mega tsunami.
Turns out that Japan has kept tsunami records for over 500 years and the same earthquake caused a giant Tsunami both in Oregon and in Japan.
Just heard on the news of a potential tornado at Lincoln City!! We have just come through the second (I think) storm of the season and I am already tired of the rain and wind. It may be a LONG winter. I had hope to get one more trip in before winterizing but it appears that probably won't happen.
That should add some spice to my buddy JJ's honeymoon in Seaside, I did warn him that the weather was getting mighty ugly.
