I have the Non Commercial Non Comm Class A license.

When I got it I had to fill out a basic medical questionaire.

I just received a letter from DMV saying my medical questionare is out of date now and I need to have forms filled out.

These forms need to be filled out by my doctor and seem very involved.

I am wondering if DMV has my license confused with a bus driver license or something else.

there are 3 forms: 051, 546, and 546A..

Confused, any help would be appreciated

Why not contact the DMV in San Diego and ask them.

Sounds like the forms for a CDL...the dmv site clearly states only one form is needed for the non commercial class a. Go to the site it has the doc number you should have filled out when you took the test for the NCCA.

Sounds like DMV is confused. We have to fill out a form every two years for "medical" clearance. Nothing by the doctor. At least that's what I was told.

There is no problem. You have a self declared medical. You just sign on the doctors line and send it in.

I just went through this and had the same concern. I went to my DMV, filled out the correct form, and waited in line. When my turn came I sat down and was told, "just sign it here". I did and she sent it in for me. No big deal!!!!

It says HERE That you need THIS DL 546

Yea, but your DMV doesn't have lines like ours does!!!

Did you see all the Dual Sport bikes up around your way a couple of weeks ago? One of our clubs put together a three day ride out of Bishop fairgrounds and they rode up your way on more than one route I hear.
