Hello
My husband told me that the handle to our gray water release has broken. Has anyone replaced this item? Do have to replace the whole valve or the handle? we have a 2007 Winnebago Chalet ( Minnie Winnie). Please advise. Thanks Jeanine and Chris

When the handle on mine broke I went to Lowes and bought the round handles that are used on yard faucets. I used a 1/4 inch nut on the botton and top of the handle. The metal handles last a lot longer than the junky plastic ones and you can buy some that are slightly smaller. Sometimes a smaller handle keeps you from busting your knuckles when opening the dump valve.

Handle broke on ours under warranty. Dealer just put on new handle, took only minutes.

You can buy the handle at any RV parts place but I would try and find out why it broke. Could need lubrication. And if it was so hard to pull, maybe it is time to replace the whole valve. Not to bad a job, 4 screws.

Handles just brake after so much use. The parts or low cost and the replacement takes about 15 minutes to do. Anyone that uses their RV often will eventually have a handle that breaks and no longer operates the valve. OK mod, ready for deletion now
