So inevitably with Michigan winters, water/snow/ice collect on the awning and get in the ends of the rolled up fabric and I have to spend a significant amount of time bleaching and cleaning the mold that has grown over the fall/winter/spring. Is there a protective sleeve that you can get that zips shut and protects the awning (similar to what pop-up awnings have)??

I tried to search and didn't really find anything on the subject. Thanks!

I have never seen a ready made awning cover. You might try going to a local canvas shop that makes boat covers, biminis, etc.

I sewed an awning cover for a previous camper. The top edge extended a bit over roof but was not waterproof.

I saw in Ten Minute Tech that someone took the bottom parts of 2 liter plastic soda bottles, slit them down one side & fitted them over the awning ends. They said it worked well, haven't tried myself.

Hmmmm ... that's interesting and worth pursuing! Thanks for the tip

I'm kind of surprised they don't make a cover that just zips on over the awning.

Because the awning is attached to the TT there is no easy way to wrap around it and zip it up.

It looks like someone did "invent" one but it isn't commercially available AFAIK.
