I did the same thing yesterday. It was a sad event.

We have been having really warm temps here lately so I was able to have one last great weekend trip.

Still some camping to be done here but the time will soon come when we also have to give it up. I suppose the nights are getting quite chilly up your way. Have a good winter.

I hear you! 70 degrees yesterday and we were putting the cover on for winter. Bummer. But at least we had good dry weather to do it with!

I guess we are lucky here in the west. For winter, I only have to drain out my water supply, water lines, and holding tanks. Low temps. here are in the +20's. That makes it easy to load up and go to some winter destinations close by. We hope to make it to Death Valley (3-4 hours away) this winter. ...RVH

4ABURN, I live in Ontario as well and there is NO WAY I'd go that long without camping. In fact our trailer is now sitting on it's winter campsite and will remain there until the end of March. We expect to put in about 35 nights winter camping this season. Try it, you just might like it. Check out my sig for a bunch of crazy canuks that do it all the time.
