I have 4 Polk audio speakers mounted underneath my trailer right up against the frame. Two up front & two in the back & powered by an extreme amp. They are the black indoor out door speakers, I leave them on all the time never take them off just hose them down when there dirty. I have had them for two years great quality & not as expansive as Bose.

It happens over on the TC forum too, but there usually isn't any mentions of blue hair. I figure it's because we're not quite as cool as the TH folks

If it is such an important topic to them, then they should start their own thread discussing the use and/or abuse of outside speakers... instead of hijacking another's thread for information.
X2, no, make that X2000!!!
Every thread on outside speakers will include at least one negative comment about "rude" people, no matter the forum. We've all let it slide to some degree, but you're spot on. For someone to gripe, they are making an attack on the OP assuming that they are boorish and inconsiderate.
Quote: Also from my experience almost every single "abuser" of loud music I have ever heard in a camping area was by tent campers with "Boom Boxes" :-) Not a jab at tent campers (I was one for over 40 years and still am on occasions), just my experience.
For me it was tent campers who blasted their car stereo. Even then, I found the stereo less annoying than the generators many RVers use.

Well you know the Toy Hauler crowd philosophy, If you can hear the generator the stereo isn't loud enough!

I know what you said was in jest, but backs up the point...
I was complaining about people who are noisy in a campground, be it with a stereo or a generator.
Exactly who is the generator / toys / outside speaker TH people have bothering? NO ONE!

Tolerance is a two-way street.
So the word "Bluehair" inevitably pops up to describe the person.
Not once have I seen someone say "you old bluehair" or any other mention of age. The word isn't describing a certain age, it's describing a state of mind.
/Rant
It is clear that you have no idea of the origins of the term "blue-hair." It is IN FACT referring to someone's age and has been around for more than 35 years (in my circles.) It describes OLD ladies dye they use to get (some still do) at the beauty shop that would give their grey hair a slight blue tint. So not only is it a OLD person but to be accurate, also a woman and originally, while driving, because that is all you could see, the puffy blue hairdo. It has NOTHING to do with "state of mind" but more diminishing driving skills due to age ORIGINALLY. That said it has morphed into meaning any old person. So when you say you have never heard anyone refer to "you old blue hair" it is because that would be saying old twice. Just my 2¢. Re-rant.
