I know Forest River makes the 2009 Shockwave F28SPL, but I do not see it being offered in 2010. I have a 3/4ton truck, but would prefer a lighter and shorter 5th wheel toyhauler. There's no need for me to go any bigger, but I like the 5th wheel arrangements.

Most of the mid-level mfgs will have a lineup of light weight rigs.

Here is my list:

Not to many left in the 25-30' overall length market -especially in a lightweight or traditional width 8'

Used to have KZ, Ragen, WW, Dutchman, ThorCA/MVP, Attitude and Extreme RV. All dead....in this size

BE sure you look at the actual overall length as most of the model designation numbers are mis-leading.

Thanks Paul, but I was looking for the model with the full door. Great price though. Guess I'll keep shopping. I looked at most of the manufacturers web sites can could not find something comparable.

We now have a 32' sandpiper hauler, unloaded it's somewhere around 7400lbs, loaded max is 12,400lbs on dual axles...Pulls real nice no problem, nice big wheels and tires on it and she pulls great thru the sand as pismo. Also its a wide body, no slides. We pull it with an 04' F350 PSD TB SC LB FX4

Thats not too big of a 5ver, it fits our needs perfectly in size, capacity and good quality

Matthews RV in Fresno has a 2008 (new) 25' KZ Sportster on the lot. I just looked at it last week. No electric bunks in back, so that was a deal killer for me.
