Hope the weathe is better for you then; we are at Onslow Beach south of Hatteras and this weather is pounding us. Second time I've been in coastal NC in November and dealt with a Nor'easter. We will be in OBX next few weeks but not Hatteras. Love Camp Hatteras - a little pricey, but a nice place.

Hope you have a better time than we did. We went there one time and never again. Rudest people on earth. I wouldn't send my worst enemy there.

We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion: the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission; which is the stage of the darkest periods of human history.........

Don't I wish! One of our favorite places. Endura is getting winterized this weekend. Boo, hoo!

Headed to Wilmington, NC on the 14th........... maybe. Is anybody out that way running into flooding, power outtage or RV parks being closed due to this storm (Ida and offspring)?? Looks now like OBX and Tidewater VA are getting slammed with steady rain and enough wind to put one off.

As retired Navy, I can at least swim a bit if need be. Not so sure about the TT..........

larry cad - sorry to hear your experience was not good. Ours was quite the opposite. Would stay at Camp Hatteras again.
