My DW and myself are planning on camping in late May to early June 2010, in the area of the Blue Ridge Parkway. We would like to camp in the Virginia and North Carolina area. We are looking for recommendations on campgrounds that would include full hook-ups.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Check out Mountain Stream Park
at Marion N C. Most beautiful
park I have ever seen. It has
a website, and has recommendations
on rvparkreviews.com

If you didn't want full hookups and could get by with electric only,I'd tell you about a beautiful Forest Service Campground with nice big sites not too far off the parkway.

Raccoon Holler is also just off the parkway. It is pretty nice. It is a massive climb up Rt 16 out of Wilkesboro though. It is worth it!

Sherando Lake - From the north entrance to the Parkway, at around mile marker 18, head east for about 10 miles. Beautiful campground with 2 lakes, swimming beach, large sites with 30 and 50 amp electric and nice bath houses with showers. Water faucets through out each loop and dump station along the entrance road.
