Anyone know if it's possible to remount the ladder to the back of a Raptor? Have the one with only 1/2 door on back. Can't understand why they couldn't mount the ladder over the window- it's not like it opens out or anything. Do they mount them into the wall studs or are they just fastened into the side walls? Pain in the butt having to keep putting it in and out of the unit!

I just leave mine attached to the side and not take it down.... No problems so far.

I have that little garage door Raptor as well. I mount my ladder inside the unit, and can operate my slide and fan, without even knowing it's there.

Unless your over 102" wide...then could be cited for being too wide. Most states have that limit. I've seen many running with the ladder, but I "think" its over the limit.

I dont think i would have the cajones to drill into a new trailer for mounting points to move the ladder.

I have mine cut in half and sleeved and stowed away inside up and out of the way.

I also cut mine in half, sleeved it and attached quick pins for reassembly in seconds.

It stows nicely in the pass thru storage and a bungee keeps it out of the way.

Mine hangs in my shop. I have yet to figure out why in the hell there is even a ladder on these things other than once a year I climb up to check the condition of the roof.

Relocated my ladder to the rear on my Raptor 3612 within a month of purchase. Reused the mounts from the side, filled the holes with white cauck, and reinstalled the mounts on the rear. No problems three years later and works great.

Yep, did that a couple years ago on our 3712TS.

I bought a set of four ladder mounting brackets, hung the ladder from the roof brackets and siliconed/screwed the new brackets to the drivers side of the back door, and transport the ladder there all the time. Sorry I don't have a picture, but and easy and inexpensive install.

I use this, stores in a nice bag and takes up little space.
