Which wheel chocks are you using. I currently have the BAL chocks but am looking for something better. Whenever I do my pull test the BAL inits will actually pull out from between the tires and this doesn't make me very happy

I second that, Roto-Choks are simply the best. They cost a little more but the way i see it they are a safety device. The first thing to go on before we unhook and the last thing to come off after we hook up.

Roto-choks here too. I have forgotten a couple of times and they will not pull through if they are properly sized. Make sure you get two sets, i.e. one for each side. This will eliminate any twisting effect when only one side needs leveling. Level ground you could get away with one side only. I do only one side when in my driveway to load or unload(drive is level). All other times I use two, takes maybe two minutes if that to install.

I use a homemade set that duplicate the RotoChoks. They work fine.

mine are home made also and so far haven't had an issue, but then I haven't put them to a pull test yet.

By the time I get to a pull test the roto-chock type device is already stowed but not the normal chocks..... Generally use the electric brakes on the trailer during a pull-test for best results and least amount of damaged parts.....

BAL chocks are designed to eliminate rocking not to keep the rig stationary. To keep unit still use basic wedges under the tires.
