gonna be there for a few days in Dec with daughter/SIL. For some reason she wants to got interested in going there. Need some places to eat in town/nearby. Don't think there are any great place, least never heard of one, but somewhere decent will do. FYI Sil is a vegetarian()so most BBQ places are out.

thanks

Big Nose Kate's has a great Reuben. Sorry, that doesn't help your vegan.

Wern't too many vegetarians in the wild west. There are several resturants in town. I'm sure she can find something, it's a small place just ask around.

SIL may just have to sit back and Suck Salad.

However, Here is a general listing of restaurants.

Went through there twice last week. They don't exactly cater to the health food crowd. I had Doritos and Coke at the Circle K.

BTW- there is no "nearby" in those parts. The next stop is Douglas or Benson about 30miles away.

Big Nose Kate's is a popular "tourist" stop but tends to be slow and more expensive than others in the area. The Longhorn usually gets our business when we have family in town. The Silver Nugget (across the street from Bird Cage) has a more "soda shop" atmosphere with some of the best foot long hot dogs West of Coney Island. They quite often have live music performances on their small stage. The Depot on the east end of Allen Street is a steak house but hasn't impressed us much. There are several other small cafe's scattered around town but we haven't visited them too often. We have lived 33 miles from Tombstone for over 10 years and have been there many times, so take the above for what it is worth. Sierra Vista is a fairly large community about 20 miles to the West on Charleston Road and has most of the expected franchised restuarants found in most cities.

Well thanks. How about this. We are staying at tombstone territories about 15 mile west of Tombstone. Any place east/west/north/south of there within reasonable distance?

Tombstone Territories is in the middle of nowhere. As stated above, Sierra Vista is the best option. Might just want to fix your own meals in the RV.

One more I might add. The O.K. Cafe across from the park on Allen street does have an excellent breakfast menu.

Tombstone Territories is a nice park. Maybe in the middle of nowhere but still the best place to stay (jmho).
