I'm on the second trip with the Jayco and twice water has leaked out of the bottom of the bathroom wall. The inside wall. The first time we were traveling in rain but the second night it was clear. It looks like there is a small vent pipe that runs through that wall and up through the roof. My guess is that is where the water is coming from. Does anyone know where that vent pipe goes to? I'd like to stop it if possible before I return home in 3 weeks.

Getup on your roof and look around the vent pipe and cap. Is there a cap, is it missing? Does the caulking look defective? Is the caulking missing?

A vent pipe will not leak from itself but you could have a caulking leak. But, it doesn't sound like it since the second time was dry. Look very carefully under the sink at the water and waste lines, I'll bet there's a small leak somewhere (prob water line) that only leaks when the pump is pressurized. I had that on my Jayco MH under the kit sink.

A vent stack will leak (look at Chuck's pictures) if the cap is missing.

Thanks for all of the replies. Have not yet located the leak, but it is becoming more interesting. We're now camped at a state campground with no sewer hookup so have not used the bathroom except on rare occasions. It has not rained and the leak returned last night after doing dishes. So I thought I had located the problem. Today I looked around under the sink and along the pipes towards the intake. No water ???? I'm connected to city water and not using the pump. So the search continues. I do not have internet on a regular basis so will reply when I get connected again.

Had a similar problem with mine. Once and a while (I thought it was when we dumped the kitchen sink after dishes) my one storage compartment would be wet. I couldn't find it--didn't do it all the time. Took it in to dealer and service guy found one of the bands on the PEX tubing couplers wasn't on right on the water heater. He put a new one on and the leak went away. It only happened when the water heater heated up (as in doing dishes) and the pressure increased.

You may have to start tracing down your water lines to see if all connections are tight. Just another thought.

just wondering, does the campground not have a dump station? wondering why not having sewer hookup, would keep you from using the trailer's toilet?

Even if the cap was missing, wouldn't the water stay within the pipe and funnel to the holding tanks?

Is the faucet for the shower on this wall. If so you could have a leak on the hot or cold input or the shower water could be getting into the wall around the sides of the faucet. We had shower water getting into the wall through a loose plastic shower surround rivet.
