I finally broke my cheap little 12V rechargeable OEM flashlight that came with our Montana. The Dealer says they no longer can get them. Has anybody found them online anywhere?

I don't want to invest in a Maglight or other $100 rechargeable just to have it set in the camper most of the year - besides I liked that little OEM one with the tilt head and magnets. More than once we became inseparable friends on the roadside.

Buy a cheap LED flashlight anywhere. They are bright and take regular batteries. Cost about $4 a you can buy all you want.

Hi,

I have a new favorite flashlight too.
It is by Ryobi, and has a 4 volt rechargeable battery. I bought a infrared temperature meter that came with the 4 volt battery and the charger. It is very useful for checking things like disk brakes when you go down a steep mountain grade. The flashlight is only $12 and fits in the pocket. It is LED, and the light will shine for over an hour on a charge.

I also have a 18 volt Ryobi drill and a flashlight for that rechargeable battery too. It is really bright, with about 15 watts output.

Lucky for me, my motorhome has been thoughtful enough to have tire blowouts only in the daytime. And no mechanical failures yet.

Good Luck,

Fred.

I need to get one for my monty the last break in they took it to see around the rig because the power was off. I did see some plug in flash lights at Costco the will go on if there is a power failure on the 110 VAC and sit in a charging cradle. but Im still looking its to bad Keystone didnt keep the flash light in there inventory. I liked it.

Perhaps we don't "camp" a lot, but we do fulltime and I have a $4.00 6-volt flashlight that has had the same battery in it for over 5 years and still works when I need it. WOrks with a good strong beam. Most people just don't use a flashlight very much and not nearly enough to have on a charger all the time.
I also have a couple of the fleamarket LED's that I keep handy that seem to last just as long.
