Our 2004 28' Class C (E-450) either tows an open car hauler trailer with Hubby's race truck on it (about 4800 lbs total) or it flat-tows our Wrangler. Our dealer reinforced the trailer hitch/frame when we told him a 5,000 lbs tow capacity was mandatory. Since we don't have slides - we don't exceed our GVW.

I have to admit that there ARE people who race with us, with long enclosed car trailers, who probably DO exceed their GVW......

Yes we tow with a 2007 30.5' Forest River Sunseeker built on a Ford E450 chassis. Our toad is a 2000 Jeep Wrangler at about 3500lbs. The MH has a 5000lb hitch and we use a Roadmaster Falcon II towbar along with a Roadmaster EvenBrake proportional braking system.

1.) Yes. We have a toad...though it used as such infrequently. Tow 4 Down with a Roadmaster/Sterling All Terrain Towbar, RoadMaster XL Series "Hidden" Brackets.

2.) 2005 Coachmen Freelander 3150SS, 31 feet (31' 6") Ford E450 Chassis.

3.) 2009 Ford Flex. 4,400 lbs.

When we bought the Flex we had not intended to use it as a Toad, and had not even CONSIDERED using it as such, till a recent article in Motorhome Magazine mentioned that it could be towed four down.

2. What is the year, size and make of your MH?
3. What is the vehicle you tow and how much does it weigh?
1) YES
2a) 2007 Ford-V10 E350 Heavy Duty Chassis
2b) 23'-8" bumper-to-bumper
2c) Phoenix Cruiser 2350 (see my profile)
3) Had been towing a 2000 Toyota MR2 Spyder weighing only 2200 pounds, towed without secondary braking.
Will be towing a 2006 Jeep Liberty weighing 3800 pounds, with secondary braking

I have a 5000 pound trailer hitch from the RV company and a Roadmaster Falcon-II hitch and tow bar setup. I have yet to buy a brake system. I need to get on that one. Time is running out.

Yes we tow with a 2009 29' BT Cruiser on a E450 chassis with a 5000lb hitch rating. We tow a 2003 Wrangler Rubicon that weighs 4200lb with a Blue Ox towbar and a Brake Buddy braking system. I have to keep checking my rearview camera to assure myself that it is still back there.

I've just finished researching a tow package so we can start towing this year. Bought the rig last year (first one ever owned) and didn't tow. Details:

2007 Sunseeker on E-450 chassis, has a 5,000 lb hitch
Will be towing 4 down a 1998 Nissan Altima, weighs about 2900 lbs.
will be buying a Blue Ox Alladin tow bar.

We tow an '07 Subaru Forrester 5 speed stick that weighs 3200# using a Roadmaster Sterling AT bar with the Even Brake supplemental toad braking system behind a 24' Bigfoot on an E-450 chassis. The whole thing combined weighs 17000# loaded. I added the Banks Powerpack system for the V-10 to help in the mountains and am glad I did, tons of power and runs a lot cooler. Also added a rear view camera and linked it to the GPS for monitoring. This set up has worked great for us.

We pull a 2006 Pontiac G6, a little over 3000#'s.

MH is a 2008 Aspect 29H on a Ford E-450 chassis.

Just traded the G6 for the Ford Flex SEL.

Yes, we towed a 2003 Chevy Cavalier (+/- 3300 lbs) behind our 2002 Coachmen Leprechaun 305MB (30.5'), E450 SuperDuty chassis, with a Roadmaster Sterling towbar and Brake-Buddy, when we had the Class C.
