Any workcampers ever work at disney world ? I know they dont offer free sites at Fort Wilderness but anyone work for them and stay elsewhere?
Looking more for the perks of free admission to the parks when you work for them.

Recently someone told me that employees get a 60% discount on campsite rental rates.

Years ago we spoke to a woman who, with her husband, worked part time at Disney World. They loved it. She said they treat their part time retirees very well. With two weeks notice they could leave whenever they want, for whatever time they want. When they get back they are put back on the rotation.

For what it's worth, my wife desparately wants to work at Disney once we're both retired. Hopefully that is sometime within the next couple years. Not a bad place to spend winter, eh?

My wife dreams of the same thing. We hope to have Disney as our first work camping experience. The plan is to have at least one of us work at Disney for the discount, and have the other work at a campground for the site. We were there in 2004, and again in 2006.

The job I have always wanted is picking up popcorn. I might be qualified but if not they do train.

Hopefully working behind the scenes won't dissolution the magic.

We had worked at WDW for 2 winter seasons. We stayed at Theme World about 12 miles from Disney. We worked Special Events for Epcot. At certain times you can get up to 50% off at Fort Wilderness. There are black out dates, you can stay but you pay the regular rate. There are many perks, and you are paid for every hour worked.
