I have a 2008 Winnebago class A. I've only used about 5 weeks in the last year. The thermostat was found out to be bad and replaced after the first 1 week trip that I made. It was pumping cold air out in the middle of the night when the outside temps were 26 degrees in Yellowstone Park. The dealer messed with it and eventually replaced it. It worked fine the rest of the year but, the outside temps were on the summer and early fall seasons. Went to Yellowstone on our annual trip again, mid May, and was dry camping with outside night temps at around 32 to 36 degrees only to have to get up 3 to 4 times a night and jiggle the thermostat switch back and forth to get it to click on. Am I cursed! Could I be the only one to get 2 bad thermostats. I've searched the forums for anyone that has had the same problems and can't seem to find anything.

Replace it yourself with a Hunter or Honeywell Digital.
Easy and fun to do and a worthwhile upgrade/modification.
Pick any digital thermostat that uses batteries as a power source.

downtheroad: thanks anyway. However, in researching this I came across a site ( irv2Com ) which has an indepth wiring forum which is about replacing the coleman thermostat with a programmable thermostat from Rite Temp which a coulple people are very happy that they did. If anybody is interested or is dissatisfied with their current stat like I am.

downtheroad: I replaced a old analog stat in my old motorhome with a Hunter digital stat. Piece of cake. But, which one should I use to replace for the current digital that I now have and is their one that includes a heat pump configuration included in the thermostat.
