Anyways, this hasn't really been a "battle" at all. Catchy title more than anything.
Got a call from Tim, Manager of Customer Relations, from Keystone again today. He informed me that his head engineer had gotten back to him from their meeting yesterday, and that they want my trailer back at Keystone to find out if anything is wrong, and hopefully find a fix action if something is. He asked when he could have it picked up, and I told him asap. I did have a trip planned for the first week of August, but I need to have this problem addressed sooner rather than later. He scheduled pickup for this week, before Friday lunch.
So far, very good customer service from Keystone and Tim in general. I hope it's not going to be one of those dealer visits that they say nothing is wrong. I have done a ton of leg work with multiple re-weighs and under trailer measurements so I think my justification is legit. Based on my word and the data I collected they are willing to fund a factory visit. Pretty good trust and a pretty good pointer that they think something is wrong too.
Glad to see this proceeding positively.

That's great news.
I have a small word of advice for you. Grab a camcorder or an iPhone and walk through the unit turning everything on and off to show that the fridge, stove, stereo, etc. are all in working order. Do the same thing outside to show that all the lights work, that you have two batteries, etc.
Especially document any mods/improvements you've made.
When Weekend Warrior took my unit back to the factory for repairs (see the WW Repairs saga) it came back with all sorts of stuff messed up. I wouldn't have believed it if I were them, but I documented all of my damages and they made it right (for the most part). I forget now what all they broke. The stereo is one of the items that sticks out in my mind. Also the Reese Dual Cam WD system that I welded onto the tongue.
So just take a few minutes and document the current condition and contents of your rig so that you'll have something to back up future claims if necessary. Then when you get it back you should perform a complete PDI as if you were picking up a new trailer from the dealer. Hopefully that will keep you from having a wheel fall off and needing a tow home from the desert (it happens!!!).
Good luck and congrats on the positive response from the factory. Keep us posted.
The whole Internet is waiting to hear how it turns out.

Good news Mav, glad to hear that Keystone is working with you and at least sounds like they care... that's a good sign. I'll second Dave's advice too.

Awesome, awesome news Mav, I knew they would step to the plate & sure they will make it right. I don't think a lot of people do their homework when issues like this happen so therefore they don't get the results like you have so far. Good luck!

Thanks to everyone. Hope it all works out in the end.
I have not got an alignment verified. They want to address the pin weight issue first, and check on the alignment due to the pictures that I had sent them of the axle/tire placement.

Great progress, good to start a new thread for obvious reasons as well. I'm sure it will work out for the best.
