Saw the Monaco Vestra two weeks ago at FMCA in Redmond. Quite sleek and steamlined look. Monaco had many coaches on display.

If it gets 15 mpg at 29,000lb I'll be surprised.

Even more surprised when maxed out at 33,000 pounds.

Nothing is either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.

"Prototype" Vesta on display at the Hershey RV show, on sale for $179,*** I love the cab layout and exterior. (front looks like an old 30's Streamliner locomotive IMO)
Factory rep. says it's be in and out of a wind tunnel as they work on the design.

Ok so they rent a wind tunnel for a day drive the motor home up there and blow smoke on it for a few hours and tell everyone it's wind tunnel designed - you'll need that and $1.25 to buy a cup of coffee. Look at the motor home what can you possible do to a moving house to make it aerodynamic - the answer is nothing much!

We live in a monaco vesta 32ft full time. We get anywhere from 11-14 MPG just depending on mountains and such. It has been a great coach so far and we have put 13,000+ miles. There are a few things we would of course like to see different in the future but overall, it is a step in the right direction. Wind tunnel testing should be done on all motorhomes. There are much better ways to design motorhomes than what is being produced out in the market. www.gonewiththewynns.com is more on our travels.

It is always interesting to hear real world experiences of new designs. In fact, I am pretty sure I was parked next to you last June for the night in the West De Moines KOA (in the brown/white Neptune). I was intrigued by your set up and your Vesta as it looked really nice parked in the site.

Just curious, is it real world, if their website is sponsored by Monaco?

It is real world experience and we are not sponsored by Monaco. WE WISH! We purchased our coach the same as anyone else. We just like our coach and think it is one of the best out on the market. Not that it is the only one, there are others out there we think are great that are made by other companies. This is just the one we purchased.

I might be wrong but can you put their ad on your blog without the sponsorship?
