Purchased from Home Depot the LIFAN 2200 Watt Digital Power Inverter Generator with Parallel Port, Electric Start, Portability Kit, Model # ESI2000iE-CA.

Posted a Video on YouTube of it, starting, running and under load, powering a water heater at 11.50amp/1400 watts, in the the auto eco mode.

Rounded up to (L x W x H), 20" x 11" x 19.5"

The Honda 2000i is(L x W x H), 20.1" x 11.4" x 16.7"

I plan on taking all the plastic covers off and mount it under my rig, between the rear fender skirt and frame with a separate gas tank between the frame rails and the starting controls inside the MH.
This could knock a few inches off the overall height.

I wonder why that is so much different than what is listed on the HD website;

* Assembled Depth (in.) : 23 in
* Assembled Height (in.) : 13 in
* Assembled Width (in.) : 20 in
* Item Weight : 59 lb

Hi beemer,

It is because Home Depot "got it wrong". They sent me an email apologizing for the error--but they obviously have not made a correction yet.

GREAT video. I wish there was a commentary at the beginning so I could get a reference on how loud it really is. Doesn't seem too bad in the video though.

Yep, I know what you mean... When I get time, I'll do a video of it running under load next to a lawn mower to help judge the difference in sound volume.
Until then, it's a lot quieter than a mower but louder than a Honda 2000i. I think it could be used anywhere someone would be comfortable running a Honda 2000i.

I too saw those numbers on the Home Depot site and knew they were wrong, my actual measurements should be within a 1/4" of correct.

See above picture;
Finger is pointing at choke, on top of transfer switch box.
Also extended the keyed starter controller switch wires from the generator to transfer switch box.

Most time consuming part of project was chasing down and purchasing all the extra parts.
