No Dead body is not redundant at all.

What are you going to use instead

"I found a dead beside the road"

Battery, Tree, Skunk, Human body? Can't tell from just "Dead"

"I found a body beside the road"

Auto body, Truck body, Camper body, Dead Human Body, Live Human Body (There is a road near Detroit, Edward Hines Drive, You can find a whole lot of live bodies alongside that road. Very scenic drive about this time of year)

No, You found a body, human is assumed, Live or dead has to be stated.

Injured or healthy are also options.. Most of those along E.H.D. are quite healthy I can assure you.

I just thought of another one. I was born here so please don't call it "Worshington". Even people that live here say that, even my mother used to. I think I used to say that also, until I was corrected in the 3rd. grade.

No, it's not redundant. According to Wikipedia: "With regard to living things, a body is the physical body of an individual. "Body" often is used in connection with appearance, health issues and death."

I worked in the medical field....hopefully, the people I tended to were LIVE bodies.

Or "VIN NUMBER". Since VIN includes "number", "number" becomes redundant. And it is a "lead pipe cinch" you will hear them again.

When I am asked for my PIN Number I tell them it's 1.

The same for my VIN number...

I was born in Great Falls, Mt. My parents moved when I was 5. I found them when I was 10 - they were in California.

Irregardless is my favorite word. It is a word that can be looked up in any unabridged dictionary, but most posers "think" it is not a word.
