Helen, I will keep Mike in my prayers along with your entire family. It was great to see Mike at Mohican sitting along the river watching all the craziness and laughing at all the nutty people. Good memories are always the best.

Thank you everyone from the bottom of our breaking hearts.Been doing well with my control back pain., but I guess the body felt i needed that to hurt on top of my heart. Can take more meds to help with back but the heart is another story. Poor Bob had a very hard day with taking our daughter to arrange funeral arrangements. He is one special dad, glad he was able to hold her together. Please God,don`t take Mike from his precious family, we need him.
Before he went into coma he told me I was the best mother-in-law, I got to say I loved him and hope it wasn`t his drugs making say that. Mohigan , was last family thing we all got to do together, I will have those memories etched in my heart forever.Don`t mean to be a downer but God this hurts like Hell, can I say that on here

Helen, Bob and family you will be in our prayers for the strength you need at this time.
Helen, Mike saw how much he and his family could count on you and Bob when they needed you, trust that he knew what he was saying when he expressed how much he loved you. What a wonderful memory to know he thought you to be the best mother-in-law.

Here is the recipe for mom' hot ham & cheese Sandwiches.
1 ½ lbs of shaved ham
½ to ¾ lb Swiss cheese
In a pan on the stove melt and mix together:
½ lb. of butter
3 tbs. mustard
1 small grated onion
1 ½ tbs. dry poppyseed
1 tsp. Worchester sauce
Mix it up until it’s hot, then let it cool and put it in the fridge so it’s ready to spread.
Use any kind of bun you wish, ie: hamburger buns
Spread both buns with butter mix.
Add ham and cheese as desired
Wrap in foil
Bake in the oven on 250 degrees for about 20 minutes and serve
