Anyone out there have any thoughts about HEARTLAND as a manufacturer?
In particular... the Big Country line. I did a quick search, looking for problems with them and didn't see any red flags but didn't see a lot of excitement about them either.

Anyone out there have one (likes/dislikes) or know of any issues with them??

Thank you for your input.

We have had a Sundance. NO complaints!!! Had a couple of very minor issues during PDI, but solid ever sense. I love the Big Country line-up, the Big Horn is even better. I've had to call customer support a couple of times, and they are great!!

If you want more info, cruise through the Heartland forums, they do have brand specific communities: Heartland Forum
Lots of good advice for Heartland there, and you can even catch the "home office" people on there.

X2 family 5th,

Debbie and I own a 2009 Heartland Big Horn 3055RL. We camp in it regularly. We just returned from a 3 week trip to Oshkosh, Wisconsin for the big air show. I also use it for my living quarters when I am working out of town. It has held up spectacularly. There were a few minor issues but my dealer, Gillette Interstate RV, has been fantastic to work with. Heartland has made the warranty process seamless and painless. I would buy another Heartland from Gillette in a minute.

Regards

We shopped for nearly a year before deciding on the Heartland Big Country. So far we are quite pleased with the product. Heartland has a great reputation for Customer Service. Our 3450TS is a beautiful 5th wheel. Check out the Heartland Owners Forum

We're on our second Bighorn. We started with a 3055RL and now have a 3370RL. We love them and the support is awesome.

We had another brand with the rear kitchen and didn't have any issues with it. We moved way up in quality when we went with the Bighorn.

We have been living in our Bighorn for more than 3 years...not only is it a great product, you won't find a better company for customer service...

When you buy, I recommend you also buy the Trailair hitch pin. It will really smooth out the ride and rear kitchen will love for it.

We own a 2009 BigHorn 3670 and are very happy with it. The roominess, storage, and general quality beat most of the brands we looked at. Sure, they may have some problems crop up, but show me a brand that doesn't. If you go to the Heartland Owners Forum, you can find all the good and bad there is. It's also administered by a rep of the company and he helps make things happen. The factory monitors the forum, too.

We have a 3250TS 2009 Big Country. We have logged several thousand miles since we purchased it including a trip from Alabam to Yellowstone last year.Had some problems, but Heartland did what they promised so no complaints. We love the floor plan and have adequate space and storage. We would vote yes for the Big Country. Good luck
