It may be good to post this on the TT forum too. There are several models that share the same slide as the 23SS.

Well add another one to the 23SS ROO wall/floor sparation problem. Ours is an 07, so it looks like it's no year specific, with 06, 07, and 08's so far involved. Ours had wall flex on the inside like Chuck
and we too carry our bedding, pillows etc back there. None of it is packed in tight or heavy, so I doubt if what Chuck thinks is causing the problem is really it. I'm willing to bet that it's a case of under engineering/construction. So tomorrow after church, it's off to the store for screws, and some marine caulk. Chuck, any reason why you're using Stainless Steel when factory screws are steel?

I would think it is a rust issue as to why he used stainless.

I routinely use stainless steel fasteners for exterior use. A hold over from my boats, but they're common hardware store items at our local store.
I used 3" long stainless steel round head screws with the holes drilled at an up-angle to get into the floor. You will need to drill the complete 3" depth as the screws will go into the metal channel at depth, not just wood.
We'll be putting 650 miles on the trailer the end of October, the next time she'll be open. Tightly closed for now.

Chuck, well I fixed by slide floor/wall gap this weekend. I couldn't find anything in S/S except metal screws so I used 3 1/2" deck screws with washers to keep them from pulling thru the trim piece. I also inspected the slide stop adjustment tab and found it 3/8" out of adjustment allowing the slide to be pulled in TOO TIGHT, which likely helped cause the seperation. I seriously doube that the blankest, pillows etc caused the wall seperation.

I've looked at the stop (stops?) and really don't know where they should be placed. Anyone have any data or calibration on this?
I used sheet metal screws, not wood screws. The metal box channel at the edge of the slide floor is where the screws go. That's why you need a long drill to get thru the channel at depth.

Chuck Leaf-Peaper has pic's etc on page 3 of your thread on wall-floor
seperation. With the slide all the way in look under the couch on the left side of the slide rai for the tap sticking out and whaere it is inrelationship to the adjustable stop on the rail base. it's real easy to adj.

You mean tab(s) right? There are 2 sets, one set located underneath the sofa, the other set behind the removable door panel under the kitchen stove area.

I can find these easily. I've no idea what the measurement should be nor how I'd know it was 3/8" or 3" out of adjustment. Where ya finding this data?
To be honest I don't recall seeing a mark and line in mine. Maybe tomorrow I can stop by the yard.

Chuck, bring the slide in until it is snug and the seals on the slide are compressed to form a tight seal, without bending out the trim pieces along the outer edge. Make sure the slide is closed evenly all the way around. Then look under the couch and see if the metal tab sticking out from the upper rail is up against the adjustable metal plate bolted to the lower rail. If not adjust the
plate so it is in contact with the tab. There is also the same adj on the slide rails under the sink, both need to be adjusted so slide closed evenly. Don't worry about seeing the makings that are shown on leaf peekers photo, I believe those are his own markings to help him adj the slide, because there were no makings on mine. The adj is to prevent the slide from being pulled in too tight and causing what we had happen, the floor/waal seperation.
