Unfortunately...I put it up for sale today. Van is in great shape, can't say the same for the health of the owners. Gonna miss ya'll, but will still be following on RV.Net

Barb & Bob,

Gosh, I'm so sorry to read you are not in good health. You two were among the very first "B Rally" attendees in 2004 ... so brave & daring to camp with a complete bunch of strangers you had "met" online ... what fun we had at Berea, and at the rallies that followed! Do stay in touch with the forum, and best wishes in finding a new owner for your van.

On topic: Um, uh, yesterday, I re-parked my van further down the driveway, making it less of a target for cars going into the garage.

Sitting in the comfy trucker's lounge at the I-State Freightliner service center in Inver Grove Heights, MN and getting the Sprinter RV serviced for our next trip. They have leather Lazy-Boy chairs and a big screen TV.

The heater in my duo therm doesn't work so I decided to check it out. Not knowing where the heat strip is I started by taking off the cover to have a look. Well what I found wasn't the problem but gave me something else to do.

I actually heard birds in my AC last week. When I popped the cover it was full. After evicting them (no eggs yet) I cut some 1/4" wire screen and used tie wraps to hold it in place over their entrance. They weren't real happy about it but they would have been less happy if I had taken off with their eggs next week.

Busy day for the B. It got it's spring oil change and lube and a set of new front tires. The rear ones will have to wait for more $$. They look good, just old.
Finished replacing all the old pink blinds today that were in it when I bought it. Tomorrow is flushing the water system, testing the furnace, and cleaning. Getting ready for the first outing later this week.

Took the battery from the spare bedroom and put it back in. Started up just fine. Moved her about 20 feet. On Monday she goes a half mile up the road for the yearly inspection process. I was told last time that I'll need new brake lines. Oh well. I remember the drive home when I purchased her. Construction detour down an unfamiliar road with a stop sign at the bottom of a steep hill.
When I stood on the brakes and felt the weight behind me I was so happy the brakes responded. I always want that feeling!

Took the vintage B to Kutztoen PA the week for a three day antique radio show. Had a great time. The B pulled my heavily packed trailer across the Poconos with no trouble. About 450 miles round trip.

There were three or four other B's there so I'll post a couple of photos in the "Post Your 'B' Sightings Here"

BTW Pennsylvania's roads suck. Driving on the major highways at 55 I had to swerve to avoid many huge pot holes that would have taken out my front end. A few looked to be at least 8" to 10" deep.
