I have a 2009 Challenger it is an entry level But for the price it has not been bad I have had a few minor issues most repaired by me. Customer support has not been bad in general we are happy based on what we paid for it

Owned a 2008 Challenger 378. Had one Damon problem.....delamination next to driver side. There was a very small gap at the corner of window frame where water leaked in (in retrospect, I should have seen the problem before the delamination occurred). Took to Damon and they completely replaced the area to my satisfaction under warranty.

Other than that I didn't like the Ford F53 chassis ride, but I guess you can't expect anymore from a Class A that cost $80K. Made the mistake of investing in Koni shocks to lessen ride harshness...didn't help one bit. Put 40K miles on it in two years and moved on to a used DP. The people at Thor were great to work with.

In general my humble opinion is that you are stepping down from a Holiday Rambler to a Damon, in general.

I agree with your "humble opinion."

Our neighbor bought an 07 OUTLAW for a good price, with this TOY HAULER model being the other reason behind choosing the Damon as there isn't a lot to choose from in this category. It's on a big W24 WH chassis, so it doesn't get any better than that in a gasser IMO. The garage looks well built and also has the optional MURPHY BED. I see a lot of things on it that makes me feel that our much older rig is much more advanced and with more quality, but all in all, they've had little issues under warranty and are happy with it so far.

As stated before, you didn't say new or used. Nobody can say about the new as they are now Thor Industries and the jusry hasn't come in yet.

Actually, Damon has been owned by Thor for a number of years. As of this year, Thor has folded all of their motorhomes formerly marketed under the Four Winds and Damon brands into a single Thor lineup. So the former Damon Tuscany is now the Thor Tuscany, etc.
