Little Sur Rivermouth

sand dunes across the hwy from the Little Sur River

after leaving Big Sur we stopped for a late lunch/ early dinner in Moss Landing at Phils Fish Market

now back home on the mountain where its a chilly 30* and I left the heater on low in the rig so that the water lines don't freeze

Looks better in the Winter than the Summer. We were there for a few days in July 2009 and fogged in the whole time. Had to drive up into the mountains just east of the park to find the sun.

You crammed a bunch of fun and scenery into your weekend. In fact, your post probably was the stimulus for mockturtle's post about how TC folks seem to have the most fun on RV.net.

Wow! Add Pacific Coast Highway to my must do list. My wife loves the ocean and I the mountains. We could both be happy there. Thanks for taking us along.

We are heading there this week for an overnight....love #7, tuck our rig in, watch the ocean flow by! Some sites can be reserved and we take a walk up Nacimiento Road, across Hwy 1, for a little cardio, then snacks and happy hour. Life doesn't get much better. Also good is to stop in at the New Carmelite Hermitage a few miles north for some of the best homemade fudge. Glad this place is only a few hours away from us!
