We also had a great time, sorry I didn`t get around to visit anyone but as you all saw I had a mini family reunion going on.Along with our best friends Becky and Tony and their daughter Maisen. My poor daughter Chris camping in tents with all that rain and 4 little kids and my great grand-baby along with my grand-daughter Bobbi. They had a good time even with the rain.Had a ball on river with Tony, and John and Pam,and my family and friends. Got home and kept the grand-kids so mom could make some funnel cake that she never got to make while we camped due to the rain. Glad Mike got to spend one night with us before needing to go home.. Thank you for the prayers for him. Will see you guys at Maumee.

UPDATE: SHARON
Broken Leg on the Mohican river Saturday.
Sharon started out Sunday by crawling in and out of the motor home on her hands & knees.
She tried to get around the house Sunday nite with crutches with out much success.
Monday at the Doc's,
Her Choices:
1. Cast only = 6 months or more to heal
2. Surgery, 2 screws and a pin & cast with laser = 2 weeks no weight, 3-4 weeks healed.
She picked #2.
She then had to get to her regular doctor THAT NITE to get an EKG done, records faxed, & a release from Doc, as Sharon's surgery was scheduled for Tuesday, the next day.
Everything went well and she was home by 4:30pm
This was all done mostly on crutches.
She needed a wheelchair and or a knee walker
Her insurance needs to review a Rx,
1.it needs to be marked URGENT
2. it will take about 2 weeks to review
3. Then, to get one ordered for her to rent
Sharon asked them what am I supposed to do?
Armpits are bruised and my arms are to weak to use crutches.
Then you better hurry up and send in.
So, I went to the AMVETS & got her a wheel chair Wednesday Morning.
Which brings us to tonite...
I keep telling her......
KEEP YOUR LEG UP!
KEEP ICE ON THAT LEG!
We are not sure about that laser, this doc is only one in MI who says he does this type of laser.
Have you heard of MLS Laser?
"MLS Laser Therapy promotes healing and quickly brings cells back to an optimal condition – all in an eight minute session. "
They start you out with 3-4 sessions,
but we found out that most need 10 sessions @ $75.00 per session.
$75 is 1/2 the regular rate, because we are his patient.
They say insurance does not pay for this newer procedure.
-Current traditional laser therapy provides partial treatment at best by reducing inflammation or pain but never both at the same time. MLS Laser Therapy synchronizes the dual action of both continuous and pulsed light therapy to reduce pain, swelling, and speed healing and recovery.-
The nurse started selling this B4 the Doctor even saw Sharon.
I had a feeling that this may be a way to make extra cash for the practice.
They were also pushing the plastic cast protector for taking showers at $45,
I was reminded to get one about 8 times.
We have one left from before.
We had already found the same one at Walmart.com for $15 ??
And
With the Rx for a wheelchair rental....
they gave you a sheet of all locations of Wright & Filippis Medical Supply
They led you to believe you had to go there with this Rx.
Looks like a kickback.
I know the prctice needs to make money, but...
All these practices seem too convenient to me.
Or am I too cynical, doubting?
Anyone experience this MLS Laser?
If so, Was it the same costs? Did it seem to help?
Any thoughts on this...
So it continues
