Happy humpday! Is anyone celebrating

The last check should arrive today and then I am taking them all to the bank so I can send in my check to SAL. Woohoo, getting close!

So here's what we have planned for SAL so far.

Appetizer pot luck dinner on Friday night - all
Banana pancake breakfast, Saturday morning - Jill & Bill
Tie-dye t-shirts, Saturday afternoon - Lee & Shelia
Hamburger BBQ dinner - Ray & Judy
Happy Hippie dress-up - all
Everyone wins Bingo - all

Let me know if you have any other suggestions, or want to make any changes.

Have a good day all!

Good Morning

Sounds good Judy. Should we plan on bringing firewood? Do we need to bring a t-shirt for the tie dye? And if we want to play Bingo what do we need to bring?

I have plenty of RV.net t-shirts for everyone to tie-dye. However, I mostly have larger sizes. If you have a t-shirt you'd rather use please feel welcome to bring it. Shelia, is there a particular material that works best to tie-dye? I would think cotton is best.

This year we discussed doing something different for Bingo. Instead of bringing a white elephant. Each person playing Bingo will bring a wrapped gift (new not used and no gag gifts please).

This is not mandatory (nothing is at SAL) so if you don't want to play or go home a winner, you need not bring a gift.

We will Play Bingo, every Bingo player is a winner! Once you get a Bingo you pick a gift and then you are done. We will continue to play Bingo until everyone playing has won a prize!

We haven't set a price limit. Does $20.00 sound OK or too high?

Yes, please bring firewood so we can have a group fire both Friday and Saturday night.

Not sure Judy about what kind of material is best I just know when Lee did his RV Net t-shirt is came out really cool.
$20 sounds good to me is it suppose to be camping related or just any nice wrapped gift?

Good Thrusday morning, the weekend is finally in sight!

Shelia wrote:

either or works for me

FYI Shelia, per Wikipedia

Tie-dye is a process of resist dyeing textiles or clothing which is made from knit or woven fabric, usually cotton; typically using bright colors. Google tie-dye you'll get lots of hits.

Lee there will be brownies left over IF
A. You bring some
B. If you don't eat them all
C. You remember where you put them the night before

Off to work, have a great day!

Whew, only 47 posts to read ... done!
Happy Anniversary (belated) to Judy & Ray and to Sharon & Bob.
Bruce, I hope to go to HAN next year - but will it be there or Long Beach?
$20 gift for Bingo? Check. I think we will bring one gift and play one card as a team (Bill & Jill) RV-related or not...hm, foofie girl prize? tools? Fun to shop!
YAY, the Brandts will make it! And Shelia, I will have pancakes for you - would you like them for brunch or lunch? LOL Terry will have the Boysenberry sauce though - you may have to do some arm wrestling..I'm just sayin'
Well, happy Thursday to all. We are going to Goldfield Days this weekend (Saturday), exploring our new neck of the woods. Make it a great one, whatever you do.
