The words thread turned out to be a hit, so let's see where this one goes. I'll start...

I am amazed at the number of people who bring their laptops to a coffee shop and have to search for an outlet. You don't think to charge up before taking your computer somewhere??

People that walk around talking on their cells phones loud enough for everyone within 100 yards to hear them.
Folks, you really aren't that important. I don't care what you just had for lunch.

Why do people pay to go up tall buildings and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?

Well, I've never used a coffee shop for internet on a laptop, but I have used an ITouch for their WiFi Access but not with a power cord. If I did use my laptop, I'd have to search for an outlet because its old (like me) and its battery doesn't last but abut 20 minutes (like me)
My phone is turned up as loud as possible because I'm very hard of hearing and have to use a hearing aid.
Sorry this ruins your day.

It's bad enough that people run into you while texting or talking on a cell phone in the car but I now notice that these same types will walk right into you while walking if you don't get out of their way.

There was a video a few weeks ago on the news that showed a woman walking through a mall while texting and she walked into a fountain. She now wants to sue the mall for a safety issue!

Oh, and then there are those yapping on their cell phone while they stand in front of you in a fast-food line and the person behind the counter is waiting for their order. When I get the chance, I just walk around in front of these people and place my order. One guy I walked in front of told the person he was talking to on the phone to wait while he proceded to begin to tell me I butted in front of him. I turned around an gave him "that look" and mentioned "you don't even want to start with me". He didn't.

Regarding the laptop.... I do not often go to coffee shops and when I do I know where the outlets are but the battery on this laptop is 30 minutes tops. And last week it would take up to fifteen of those just to P.O.S.T. (I fixed that 2 days ago) So I needed external power.

However I fully agree with the folks shouting into their cell phones.

Where did my Yell post go??

Waitresses who wear perfume, on their hands, and touch your coffee cup, especially where you put your mouth. So now every sip smells like perfume, and you don't know where her hands have been.

My biggest one, waitresses who reach over your baby with the coffee pot to do refills.

How about the people at the theatre who stand in line for 20 minutes, then when they get to the front, they stand there looking at the board to try and figure out what they want.

Or the people who will make a cell call in a crowded area and get upset at the people around them because they can't hear.

People driving without snow tires. (kind of a location specific thing)

I could go on and on, but I am starting to sound grouchy.

GAG! One of my co workers wears lotions and hand creams from Bath and Body-strong stuff. The other day, she picked up my pop tart and broke off a bite-i had to throw it away after the next bite was a mouthful of Hawaiian/floral/ocean breeze stuff!

My GF likes fabric softener, lots of fabric softener, cheap fabric softener. On everything.

She did my sheets once because she has a big front loader and I don't like putting expensive sheets in those upright twisty things. She used so much fs I could smell the sheets from the doorway of the bedroom. I thought there was something burning. I had to take the sheets to a commercial washer and rewash them myself. I never told her.

We have an agreement now. You do my laundry, NO fs. And now.. about that stinky detergent...

Adendum to my earlier post. I just got up from a pre-nightshift nap and looked out the front window. The neighbor's car is stuck in the middle of the road - AGAIN.

I hate fish. I have never met an avid fisherman that didn't have a way of cooking fish that is "so good you can't even tell it's fish. Tasted like chicken." I CAN tell its fish! It is not good. If I wanted to taste chicken, I'll eat a chicken!
