And here I just sent you an E-mail about the dreaded "cancelling"....I hate to do it but after a small outing on Friday that involved some walking, some sitting, some standing...well, without alot of Great detail, I just dont see my mobility being up to Par for all the activities that make Anaheim so much Fun. As indicated, I hate to do it because Ive never missed this Rally. Sorry

OK, I can take a hint. You just didn't want my motor home to look bad by putting yours next to it.

Nah, nothing like that Tom, heck, Ill even miss you! How sad is that on my part? In reality, Im told Im doing pretty good, physical therapy wise. I have full movement back in the Knee, we're just waiting to get Full movement without it "killing me" and to get strength back in that leg. Im really regreting cancelling but even a short drive in the car is a killer, cant imagine driving the MH down and then trying to set up. You all have a Great time and take plenty of pictures...OK?

Just take care of yourself and do as the doctor orders. There will be plenty of rallies in our future.
Excited now to get out there, we are gonna do our shakedown this weekend with the new MH, starting to fill out the inside a bit with gear.
I am still trying to figure out how best to attach the motorcycle, seems i'll need to beef up the rear hitch before doing a hitch lift. Does anyone know of any enclosed trailers for sale, 5'x10' minimum, in the SoCal area? Maybe one I can rent for a bit until I get the hitch lift? I'm eyeing craigslist, but only seeing the brand new ones in fillmore.
one to keep in mind Adam most lifts require a DP type frame. The lift weighs 3-400 lbs and then the motorcycle. Most C and gas A class have extensions to factory frame and won't support the weight. Along with that much weight that far behind the rear wheels overloads the rear axle.
we went to will call and picked up our packet today, they are expecting about 3300 rigs for the weekend. We are camped in Tonopah right now move over tomorrow, where you staying in town Lee?we are at Saddlebags RV at $27 a night with Good Sam or AAA.
We are at Pleasant Lake RV for 27 a night, with Good Sam rate. Great resort and very quiet at night...you can hear the wild burros fart in the early AM. Will check out "The Rally" tomorrow. Then we must decide if we will adjust the travel plans home, due to a projected storm.
